These exceptional koi, received in January 2025, are Nisai—now in their second year of life—having been bred in the spring of 2024 during Japan's traditional koi breeding season (typically late April to early May).

The Chagoi variety is cherished for its calm, friendly temperament, making it a favorite among koi keepers.
