Koi from Ikarashi Koi Farm (Imported January 2025)
We are excited to offer a stunning selection of koi imported directly from the renowned Ikarashi Koi Farm in Ozumi, Japan. These exceptional koi, including a mix of Tosai (1-year-old), were received in January 2025. The Tosai koi were bred in spring 2024, during Japan's breeding season, which typically runs from late April to early May, when the water temperatures are ideal for spawning.
The koi are bred by the highly respected Hidetoshi Ikarashi, who, along with his uncle Kazuhiko Ikarashi, continues the legacy of the farm founded over 50 years ago by Hidetoshi’s grandfather and father.
Ikarashi Koi Farm is known for its high-quality koi and unique breeding programs. They specialize in a diverse range of koi varieties, including Benikikokuryu, Ochiba, Chagoi, G/R Asagi, Goshiki, Koromo, Kujaku, Hariwake, Yamabuki, and Kawarimono.
