We are delighted to offer a select group of Kujaku Nisai Koi, imported from Japan in January 2025. These koi are now in their second year (Nisai) and measure approximately 20–30 cm, showcasing their developing beauty and potential.
Kujaku, meaning “peacock” in Japanese, is an aptly named variety known for its eye-catching metallic white base overlaid with bold, net-like reticulation and vibrant red, orange, or yellow markings. The distinct combination of a Gin Rin-like sheen and a sharp Asagi-style scalation gives these koi a unique appearance that shimmers in the water—earning them a reputation as living jewels of the pond.
These Kujaku Nisai display excellent luster, clean pattern placement, and well-balanced body shapes. As they mature, their colors continue to deepen and refine, making them an excellent choice for hobbyists looking for long-term visual appeal and high show potential.
Kujaku are not only beautiful—they're also hardy, adaptable, and known for their calm temperament, making them a great fit for both new and experienced koi keepers alike.
Bred at some of Japan’s top koi farms and imported with the highest standards of care, each Kujaku in this collection offers striking contrast, vibrant metallic quality, and strong future development.
Add a Kujaku Koi to your pond and enjoy the bold elegance this variety brings—where metallic brilliance meets traditional beauty.
