Selloum produces huge, ruffled, deeply cut leaves that fan out from a central trunk, giving it a wild, tropical look. As it matures, it forms a thick, woody stem and can reach 1.5–2 m indoors and 3–4 m outdoors in warm climates like Bloemfontein. Its resilience, fast growth, and bold texture make it one of the most impressive Philodendron species for both indoor and outdoor use.
